Fitness and putting your health first is crucial to self.I joined this gym during the fall of 2020 after college started back up. But why do we need pain to give us power? As I’ve gotten older/wiser I’ve became much more fond of the mentality of loving yourself for life… without loving yourself there will be no longevity to your life. We as women take the pain we go through and turn it into power and use that power to achieve all types of gains. I can definitely understand that concept first hand. Many of us grew up with a “no pain no gain” mentality. This gym is perfect for everyone but especially for us moms with busy schedules.

Do leave Group Fitness weights inside the Group Fitness studio Do provide feedback when a piece of equipment needs some TLC Do control your weights so they don't slam on and damage the floor Read all the signs posted around the gym- they're there to guide you!

Do ask a trainer or team member if you're unsure how to use a machine Steal the equipment, like barbell clips Lean weights or barbells against the mirrors Don't move recumbent/upright bikes around Don't pour water in the sauna heater unless there's a bucket next to it- they're electric! Slam dumbbells- while they are sturdy, they're not indestructible Wear sneakers on mats - mats are for your body, not for your shoes Slam weights on clearly marked No Drop zones as it damages the floor Use iron plates on the Olympic platforms and they damage the platforms Steal parts of the equipment, like the cupholders on the treadmills (why?) Slam things into the walls unless the wall has been designated for that purpose Spray the sanitizer spray directly into electronics, like the cardio screens (spray onto the paper towel first) Here's some Do's and Don't to get you started! If you want to work out at a nice gym with nice equipment, we all need to do our part. Real talk: Gym equipment is expensive to purchase and expensive to maintain. I love being at Crunch Fitness and can’t get enough of Group Fitness classes!" I started taking the necessary steps to become an instructor and have since been hired on as a Group Fitness Instructor with Crunch! Shortly after that, my attendance went to 6 days a week with more than 1 class a day. I found my gym tribe in her classes and started going about 4 days a week. I then branched out and tried different classes and took a class instructed by Karen Hoverson. I started with a Yoga Body Sculpt class and then increased to another one. In the Summer of 2021, I joined Crunch Fitness Bee Ridge after looking at different gyms and comparing what each had to offer. I was part of a different gym during that time, but went out of a feeling of obligation rather than actually enjoying my time there.

I was burnt out and needed a change and to focus on our young children. In 2021, I stepped back from the bedside nursing I had been doing for 15 years.
